I L.O.V.E. prop making and this week I have experimented with raw fleece.

I found two fluffy Gotland fleeces for sale, Grey and fawn and chocolate and fawn colours. My mission was to make a curly fleece blanket to pose babies on.
Felt Fleece
After searching the internet for many hours to find a tutorial to make them, unusually I didn't find anything that really showed the whole process, so with the information I did find, I experimented with the grey and fawn fleece.

Mission :- to felt one side and leave the other side curly, so it resembles a very fluffy sheep skin rug but the sheep doesn't have to lose its life in the process.

So enjoy the following video of my felting experience, I hope you gain a few pointers from  my free tutorial........
